Do Declare
By Victoria Osteen - Jan 15, 2016

Psalm 107:2 says, "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so." In other words, let your words and actions show that you are a child of the Most High God. Declare that you are redeemed. Declare that you have favor. Declare that you are headed towards total victory!

When you declare something, you are setting your thoughts and expectations. You are planting seeds into your own mind. When you declare God's Word, you are depositing seeds of truth, faith, and hope into your being. Those seeds become thoughts and your thoughts determine the direction of your life. When you set your thoughts on God's Word you will always walk in His ways!

Beyond declaring His Word with our mouths, we have to live it with our actions. Actions really do speak louder than words. Do your actions declare, "I am redeemed?" Do your actions say, "I am a follower of His, filled with love, joy, and peace?"

If we don't declare His truth and establish it within us, someone or something else will try to tell us something different. There are so many messages coming at us from all sides and we have to decide what is true for us based on the Word of God. We have to determine what applies to us. The scripture says that is a sign of a mature believer—that we can distinguish between what is good and what is evil (Hebrews 5:14).

Today, rise up and say, "I am a child of the Most High God!" Let your actions say, "I am redeemed!" Live the truth that you are above only and not beneath. Walk in His strength and victory. Stand tall because you are here for God's purposes and you will fulfill the destiny He has for you! Declare it and live it each and every day!
