Set The Blessing In Motion
By Victoria Osteen - Jun 23, 2017

It doesn't matter what you may need today, God already has a plan to meet that need—to bless you, increase you and multiply you! However, we can't just sit around and do nothing while we wait for God's abundant blessing. No, we have to do our part and follow His system. God's system is found in His Word, and when we obey His Word, it sets the blessing in motion and opens the door for Him to move on our behalf.

One way to set the blessing in motion is by sowing seed and offering what you have in your hand to God for His purposes. Scripture says that when you give, it shall come back to you in greater measure. When you give to God, He will pour out His miraculous blessing in return.

One time, Jesus was preaching to a large crowd on the side of a hill. People traveled a long way to hear Him, and they were starting to get hungry. Of course, there wasn't a McDonald's or Domino's Pizza delivery anywhere, so the disciples urged Jesus to send the crowds away so they could travel back home and find food before it got dark. But Jesus said, "I'm not going to turn them away; I'm going to feed them." Then, a small boy offered his lunch to Jesus—two fish and five dinner rolls. It wasn't much, but it was all he had. Jesus received the lunch, blessed it and multiplied it, and used it to feed thousands of people that day.

Sometimes what you have in your hand seems small. It may feel like you are trying to feed a multitude with five loaves and two fish, but don't limit God. Nothing is impossible with Him! His resources are not limited to what you have or what you can see. His supply is limitless. Give Him what you have in your hands and allow Him to multiply it. He knows how to multiply your influence, your strength and your talent. He can multiply your income and resources. You don't have to figure it all out; you just have to give Him what you have in your hand. Take a step of faith today and use what you have. Set the blessing into motion because with God, all things are possible!

"I will make My covenant (solemn pledge) between Me and you and will multiply you exceedingly." (Genesis 17:2, AMPC)
