Inspiration

A mother called into the radio show not long ago and told us how she has an adult child who is physically challenged. This child recently had a stroke and needed constant care. The mother is a widow and couldn't afford to quit her job, but there was a well-respected facility not far from where she lived that took care of the disabled. When she inquired about space for her child, she was told that there was a 10-year waiting list to get in. She didn't know what she was going to do. This mother wasn't raised in church and didn't have any kind of spiritual background, but through watching us on television, she came to know the Lord. She heard me talking one time about acceleration. In her own simple way, with childlike faith she said, "God, they said it's going to take 10 years to get my child into this facility. But Lord, I believe that You can make it happen sooner." Three weeks later, the facility called back and said, "We've had an opening come up unexpectedly. We'd love to have your child." 

What could have taken 10 years, God did in a fraction of the time. This was a set time of favor; a moment God had already designated. This lady released her faith; she had an expectancy. If she would have thought, "Oh, great. Ten years, just my luck. What am I going to do?" maybe the door wouldn't have opened. Maybe the set time would have been delayed. Instead of being negative and talking herself out of it, this lady dared to ask God for what seemed impossible.

What do you dare ask God for today? Scripture says He is able to exceedingly, abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think. Why don't you take a step of faith today and believe God. He has set times of favor in your future. He has blessings in store for you today. He wants to accelerate your dreams and desires. Dare to ask, dare to believe and watch what He will do in every area of your life!
