Keep Saying "Yes"
By Victoria Osteen - Oct 23, 2015

There was a man in the Bible named Nicodemus who asked Jesus, "What does it mean to be born again? How can a person enter their mother's womb a second time?"  Jesus answered him by explaining that your spirit is the part of you that is reborn. When we say "yes" to Jesus, when we receive Him as Lord and Savior, that is when we become born again. (Romans 10:9-10)

When you say "yes" to Jesus, when you receive His forgiveness, you are cleansed of all sin and unrighteousness.  The Spirit of God literally makes His home inside of you! It's as if God takes the DNA of sin out of your spirit and replaces it with the DNA of a saint! You're not programmed to be a sinner anymore; in fact, it becomes hard to live the same old way because now you are programmed to say "yes" to Christ.

Remember, saying "yes" to Jesus isn't a one-time thing. We have to wake up every morning and choose to say "yes" in our minds, our attitudes and our actions. We have to say "yes" to His Word and come into agreement with His promises. Just like you exercise and feed your body daily so that you'll grow and be strong, you have to exercise and feed your spirit man if you want it to grow and produce the great things that God has deposited on the inside of you.

Today, if there are any areas of your life that have been closed to God, open your heart to Him. He loves you with an everlasting love, and He has a wonderful plan for your future. Keep saying "yes" to Him each and every day!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17, NKJV)
