Press Through the Crowd
By Victoria Osteen - Mar 29, 2016

Scripture tells us about a woman who was sick for 12 years. She went everywhere looking for a doctor who could help her. She walked for miles searching for help. Can you imagine that journey? She spent her life, and all of her money, looking for answers. With her condition, she was considered an outcast. She was unclean.

Think about this woman. She was lonely, desperate and very sick. She was all out of options, but then she heard that Jesus was in her town. She heard that He had healed others and fully believed that if she could get to Him, she would be healed as well. In her weakened state, she got up and pressed through the enormous crowd of people until she touched the hem of His garment. Immediately, she was made whole.

Today, maybe you've been struggling with something for a really long time. Maybe it looks like you're out of options. You don't have to press through a crowd of people today, but maybe you have to press through the crowded thoughts of your mind—thoughts that are telling you that you won't make it.

Jesus is standing before you and wants you to come to Him just as you are. You don't have to change a thing. He wants to touch your life and make you whole. He wants to renew, redeem and restore you. He doesn't expect you to clean yourself up first; He just wants you to come to Him. Press through the crowd of doubt. Press through the crowd of negativity. Press through the crowd of fear and reach out and receive the free gift of wholeness that is waiting for you!

"Jesus turned and saw her. 'Take heart, daughter,' he said, 'your faith has healed you.' And the woman was healed at that moment." (Matthew 9:22, NIV)
