The Storehouse
By Victoria Osteen - Oct 09, 2015

We have a room at home where we store extra things that we might need around the house. Our family knows that if we need something like paper towels or plastic bags, that room is the place to look. We know exactly where to go and we don't worry about it. We are confident that what we need will be there when we need it.

Scripture talks about a storehouse, too. God says that if you bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, there will always be plenty available for you. If you're a tither, you can have confidence that when you go to God's storehouse you will find exactly what you need, when you need it.

The tithe is the first tenth of your income and the storehouse is the local church. If you've never stepped out in this area, I encourage you—don't let another day go by! God is faithful to His Word and when you give to Him, He promises to give back in greater measure. Obey God in your tithes and offerings and watch Him pour out an abundant blessing on every area of your life!

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. (Malachi 3:10, NIV).
