He Will Silence Your Enemies
I love the verse found in Proverbs 16 that says, "When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." Think about that for just a moment. God wants you to live in peace. He doesn't want to see you worry and frustrated, striving to fight your battles in your own strength. He wants to fight your battles for you. He wants to be the hero of your story!
What enemies are you facing today? Are you facing an enemy of debt? An enemy of fear? An enemy of lack? God wants to silence those things that come against you. So instead of focusing on what is coming against you, focus on the One who is for you! No matter what's going on in your life, all you have to do is please God Almighty, and He will take care of the rest.
How do you know when you are pleasing Him? The Bible says that faith pleases God. When we walk in faith by obeying His Word, we are pleasing Him. When we declare His promises and trust Him, we are pleasing Him. When we come humbly before His throne of grace and worship Him, we are pleasing Him.
Today make pleasing Him your number one priority. Put Him first place and let Him fight your battles. Receive His peace and joy and let Him show you His goodness. As you honor the Lord, He'll silence your enemies and lead you into the abundant life He has prepared for you!
