Your Story Isn’t Over
By Victoria Osteen - Mar 14, 2011
Scripture warns us that in this world we will have trouble. We will have trials. We will have things that come against us in this life. But, we can be of good cheer because when opposition comes, it's really just a set up for victory. If you are going through a hard time today, your story isn't over!

Think of it this way: any time you are watching a movie, there's always some conflict or opposition that arises. Things may seem hopeless and it may look as if it isn't going well for the main character. But you know that it's "just a movie" and that things will turn around in the end. I mean really, would people even go to the movies if they always ended in tragedy, always ended in defeat, or always ended in failure? Probably not. When you're watching that movie, you know deep down inside that everything is going to work out even though you don't know how it will. We have to look at our lives the same way. In times of trouble when things seem hopeless, when things aren't going the way you planned, you have to recognize that your story isn't over! There's going to be a turning point for you and things are going to work out! Your story ends in victory!

Today, keep your eyes on the big picture of life. No matter what happens, keep your heart focused on what God has for your future. Keep your hope set on Him because He is the Author and Finisher of your faith. Receive His strength and be empowered to take hold of the victory He has in store for you!

With God we will gain the victory… (Psalm 60:12, NIV).
