What God Thinks About
By Victoria Osteen - Jun 22, 2010
Have you ever wondered what God thinks about or what is on His mind? It says in Psalms that God is mindful of us. That means God is constantly thinking about you and me. What is He thinking when He thinks about us? Is He thinking about our mistakes, failures, or shortcomings? No, Jeremiah tells us that God's thoughts toward us are good! He's not thinking about what we did wrong; He's thinking about what we did right. He's not thinking about how far we have to go; He's thinking about how far we've come.

Do you know why He thinks about you? It's because He loves you so much! When you love someone, you can't get them off your mind. You think about them constantly. Every time the phone rings, you wonder if it's that person. You're thoughts become consumed with them.

I encourage you today to receive God's love in a new way. Ask Him to help you understand His unconditional love. When you understand His true love, you'll be set free from any kind of inferiority and insecurity. You become more grounded and better able to love others as you love yourself. That's because the more we accept God's love, the more love we will have to give—both to Him and to the people who matter the most to us.

How precious are Your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! (Psalm 139:17-18, NLT).
