God is Ready to Do a Miracle in You
By Victoria Osteen - Mar 29, 2010
A while back, I received a letter from a gentleman who had been diagnosed with cancer of the kidney that had spread to his other organs. The doctors gave him the devastating news that he had less than two years to live. He was respectful but he said, "Doctors, I don't believe I'm finished just yet. I've got something else to do." They said, "Sir, you're in denial. You need to accept it and learn to deal with it."

He decided to go to another very well-known hospital for a second opinion. He took all of his charts and records. The doctors studied them and said, "Yes, it looks like they were right. It looks like the cancer has spread." But, the man didn't give up there. He politely asked the doctors to run some new tests. About a week later, they came back in amazement and said, "We've never seen this before. The old tests clearly show that you have cancer, but these new tests show there is no trace of cancer in your body."

That was five years ago. This man is still as healthy as can be and still going strong. What happened? This man did not waver in what he believed in his heart. He knew that God had more in store for him. He hung on to that promise in his heart, and God was faithful! He showed up in this man's life and did what medical science could not do.

Let this be an encouragement to you that God is still in the miracle-working business. I believe He wants to surprise you with His favor and amaze you with His goodness. Hold on to that promise in your heart because I believe your set time is closer than you think! Keep standing, keep believing and keep hoping. Keep pressing forward because God is ready to a miracle in you!

We are calling this week the "Five Days of Favor." I encourage you to join with me in pressing forward into new levels of favor, faith and victory. At the end of the week, log on to www.joelosteen.com for an exclusive, live webcast, "Finding God's Favor" on Easter Sunday at 7:00 pm CST. I can think of no better way to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord than to feed our faith and commit to reaching new levels in Him!
