Walk Uprightly
By Victoria Osteen - Feb 02, 2010
Walking uprightly means doing what is right in the eyes of God. It's living honorably according to His Word. But there's another definition of the word "uprightly" that I like. It also means to stand tall with good posture. If you think about it, when you walk uprightly before God, you can hold your head up high. You can stand tall and have confidence because you know who you are. You're a child of the King. You are blessed and highly favored! When you walk uprightly before God, He won't withhold any good thing from you. Remember, He wants to bless you. He wants to give you good things. Jesus didn't die so we could live a poor, defeated life. He didn't go to the cross so we could be downcast and full of doubt and fear. No, He gave His life so we could stand tall in Him and live the abundant life!

Today, get rid of anything that is hindering you from walking uprightly. Don't let the weight of old habits, wrong thinking, and negative mindsets cause you to slouch over. Instead, rise up, put your shoulders back, and hold your head up high because no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly!
