'Tis the Season
By - Dec 22, 2009
The holiday season is such an awesome time of year. It's a time to relive happy memories and a time to make new ones. It's a season of laughter, joy, and hope as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus.

But it's also easy to get caught up in all the hustle and bustle so that sometimes we aren't at our best. We allow ourselves to get stressed out and feel unnecessary pressure. And who do we usually fuss at when things aren't going the way we want them to? The people we love; the people who are closest to us.

As we approach the Christmas Holiday, let's remember that beyond the presents, dinners, lights, and festivities the most important thing is the people we are with. It's not about what gifts we give or how good dinner is, but it's about spending time with the people we love and the people who need our love.

You know, time is a precious commodity. Sometimes your time is worth more than your money. You have to spend it wisely because once it's gone, it's gone forever. So let's spend our time wisely, let's end the year strong; let's build great families as we stand strong on God's Word!

How wonderful, how beautiful, when brothers and sisters get along…that's where God commands the blessing (Psalm 133:1, Message).
