Find the Victory in Every Day
By Victoria Osteen - Apr 14, 2009

"In Proverbs 2:7, God said he holds victory in store for upright. You may say, "I haven't seen a lot of victory, Victoria. I haven't had a lot of opportunity." You may have had a lot of problems, but you've got to be convinced of this; there is victory for you today because there is victory in store for the upright!

Victory and success are in your future, but they aren't just for your future, they are for today. You have a choice to either settle where you are or rise up and embrace the victory God has for you. It can begin by simply rising up and declaring God's Word over your situation instead of complaining about it. Victory can begin by putting a smile on your face when you don't feel like it. When you rise up and take a step of faith, you are rising up in victory. I'm not saying that every day is going to be perfect. We are all a "work in progress." We all have days when we may have said something we wished we hadn't. Maybe you cheated on your diet or something just didn't go the way you planned. But there is still victory in every single day, and it's up to you and me to find it. In fact, just realizing you made a mistake and being determined to do better next time–that's victory!

The scripture says that a good man may fall seven times, but he gets back up again. Don't waste valuable energy concentrating on the fall any longer. Instead, concentrate on getting back up! Concentrate on the victory so you can be in position to receive all the blessings the Lord has in store for you!
