That is why it is so important to live as a positive example before our children and families. We paint a picture, so to speak, with our lifestyles, and our children put their own frame around it. In other words, they build their lives according to how they see you live.Paint a picture with your life that your children will be proud to frame. It's never too late to create vision and purpose in your home and paint a picture that can be passed down in your family for generations to come.
Recognize that through your example you are investing not only in your own children but in your children's children. When we recognize our influence, we are laying steppingstones, not stumbling blocks, for future generations and leaving a legacy of faith. Maybe you don’t have any children of your own. Perhaps there are other children in your life. Tell your nieces, nephews, and your friends’ children how important they are. Your words of faith will be a positive deposit in their futures. Invest in those around you because you never know what can happen when you touch just one life. And I believe that your life and my life are going to minister for generations to come through our family lines because of God's faithfulness.
