"But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
Today's Word
I love how the three Hebrew teenagers in Daniel 3 wouldn't bow down to the king's golden idol even when the king was going to have them thrown into a fiery furnace. They had the courage to stand in faith whether it worked out their way or not. They were not kept out of the fire, but God made them fireproof, allowed them to go through the fire, and they came out unharmed, without even the smell of smoke.
There are times in life when we all get thrown into the furnace of testing. You need to remind yourself that the flames can't harm you, the trouble can't take you out, those people can't stop what God has ordained. It's a test. Are you going to stand despite the opposition, are you going to stay in faith despite things not working out, are you going to keep believing even though you've had setbacks? When you stand in faith, God will make things happen that you couldn't make happen. You'll accomplish dreams that seem impossible.

Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for Your promise to be with me through the fire and flames. Even when life doesn't make sense, I choose to trust in You and believe that You are working behind the scenes for my good. I believe I will come through without the smell of smoke. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
